The Wish

The Wish - Karen Parisi

Henna always wished to open a restaurant. She was a great cook and it was her wish to be the owner of one of the best restaurants in town. She knew that she couldn’t start off with something big but she was passionate about fulfilling her wish.

She was the daughter of a single mother, who actually transferred her cooking skills to her. Her interest grew and she started taking cooking classes from special cooking schools in Calgary. They used to live in a small house and were not rich enough to open up a new place in the area as buying a property is a deed of rich people.

She majored in cooking and won many competitions at domestic level. People offered her several jobs in the best hotels of the city. She was earning good money but the desire of having her own restaurant never faded away. While staying busy at her work at day time, she used to dream about her very own restaurants at night. She used to talk about her wish with her mother who always used to support and encourage her.

Life was going fine when she met Eric, the love of her life. He use to work in Plumbing Toronto. Quickly, she shared her wish with him. Eric knew a lot about banking and he introduced Henna to the bridge loan. The idea made her excited and she discussed it with her mom. After the approval of this plan, she decided to make a visit to bank. Eric helped her in the entire procedure and finally she got loan from the bank.

She purchased a property in one of the busiest areas of the city and opened up the restaurant by using her savings and few of her mother’s. Eric also helped her financially. Within a time span of one year, Henna was the owner of a cute small restaurant.

Henna’s restaurant has become one of the best restaurants in town. It remains busy the entire week especially on various holidays. The taste of her food is mouth-watering and the business is progressing over time. Eric is still with her and is helping her out in the business; helps in any sort of crisis. Henna repaid the entire bridge loan back including interest. She is now thinking of expanding her business in other parts of the city with the profit that she is earning from her business.
